Explanation:

This diagram explains the system of Darkside Dance.
The system allows the body to invoke and direct the
atavistic currents of Sex, Death, Desire, and Fear,
projecting them psychically beyond the physical.

The atavistic energies are embodied and visualized
as animal forms: the Snake, Spider, Frog, and Monkey.

By working with these forms and their associated energies,
the dancer may evoke corresponding audience reactions.

The system is best understood as a model of
sorcerous enchantment and transmogrification.
The practitioner aims to transgress human boundaries,
arriving at a post-human or inhuman knowledge of self.
